A warm, welcoming entry
This small entry hallway was a fun opportunity to transform a boring box into a light-filled space perfect for welcoming family and friends.
We embraced the original terrazzo tile floors and added a bold wallpaper and a new maple wood door.

-Places for mail and for guests to leave hats, purses, etc. (there is separate entry way for family)

-Lack of natural light (original door had no glass)
-Narrow room, with not much space for furniture

-Replaced door with one with glass panes to allow in more natural light
-Added new lighting including capiz shell overhead light and mini-brass lamp
-Utilized small scale furniture including half-round entry table and vintage vanity bench
