What is your “Feel-Good Home Design” approach all about?

This is my signature process which focuses on helping you create a home that is not only beautiful, but also gives back to you and supports true well-being. We take the time to learn about you and your family to ensure you have a home that reflects who you are, what you love, and how you want to feel in your space. Do I have to live in the Austin-area?

At this time I’m only taking clients in the Austin and surrounding metro area. Travel fees may apply based on location outside central Austin.

Can you help someone with a design style that may be different than your own?

Absolutely! While my own aesthetic tends toward a playful traditional feel, with lots of color and pattern, I also love and appreciate so many different design styles. What’s most important to me is ensuring that your space feels good to you and your family!

What if I don’t know my style?

No problem! We will work together to uncover your own unique style.

Do you help with home renovations?

Definitely! I know renovating a kitchen or bathroom can feel overwhelming. Our renovation support packages allow you to get help with various aspects of the renovation process (everything from picking out countertops or tile, to creating an electrical plan). You get the guidance you need, where you need it.

Full project management of a kitchen or bath renovation is also available. Contact me for more details and pricing.

Do you have a minimum budget?

No, the cost for the service is simply the price of the design package. You purchase any furniture, paint, tile, etc. on your own timeline and within your own budget. And you don’t need a big budget to have a beautiful home. I’m happy to share suggestions and resources for bringing a feel-good home to life at a price point that feels comfortable to you.

Do you offer full service design?

No, Henrietta & Rogers specializes in design consulting and renovation support only, providing you with the guidance to create a home that supports and nurtures you and your family.

What if my partner and I don’t agree on the direction our home should take?

This is a common challenge and I enjoy working with both partners to find creative solutions in order to create a home that feels good to everyone.

Do you work with folks that rent their homes?

Absolutely! I was a renter for over a decade and I believe everyone should live in a home that nurtures them and lifts their spirits.

What if I feel embarrassed or uncomfortable about the current state of my home?

This is strictly a judgement free zone! I know that it can feel stressful and overwhelming to work on your home. I’m here to help, not to judge, and I feel privileged to be able to work closely with my clients and lend a hand. And while I love a pretty interior design photo, it’s certainly not real life! My own living room is often covered in trains and magna-tiles, and is also perfectly imperfect.
